Social Connections that Stick

Social-skills classes with Emmaleigh Badeaux, LMHC

Is your child struggling to start conversations, join play, or navigate social situations? Our small-group social-skills classes pair evidence-based strategies with real peer connection, in a sensory-friendly setting where kids feel safe enough to try.

  • Read and respond to social cues with confidence
  • Initiate meaningful interactions with peers
  • Build real friendships in a supportive environment

Emmaleigh started out as a special education teacher before earning her master's in clinical psychology, and she is one of the few therapists in Indiana certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, including the adapted version designed to support children on the autism spectrum. Her approach is caring and practical, built on evidence-based, behavior-focused strategies.

"We could all use more joy in our lives, and I am passionate about setting people up for success."

The sensory glow room used for regulation breaks at Prana Play
Why the room matters

A setting that does half the work

A session goes differently when the space is already regulating. Managed noise and lighting, equipment built for movement and proprioceptive input, and Twilight Time always a step away when a child needs a break.

  • Calm, low-stimulation rooms for one-to-one work
  • Movement equipment for sensory and motor goals
  • Quiet spaces for a reset without leaving the building
  • Siblings and caregivers have somewhere to be
For clinicians

Practicing here yourself

Occupational therapists, speech therapists, counselors, and other providers rent rooms at Prana Play to see their own clients in a sensory-built space, without carrying equipment from site to site.
